Happy Anniversary!

Happy Xth Anniversary to Ian and Ming!

Well I wasn't going to give it away that they are celebrating their 9th anniversary. But I will have to if you want to know what this piece of thingy is... it was made my LP with FIMO and it's suppose to be an abstract number "9" in Chinese. As you might be able to tell... they are trying to pose like the figure...

Flora Festival

One of our original wedding photo shoot location was at The International Flora - The Montreal Garden Festival. "FLORA hosts the 'ART RENDEZVOUS IN THE GARDEN', where 100 artists, inspired by the Gardens, will create under the theme of: 'The encounter of the artist and the garden'. "

I even went online to search for 50% off coupons! For some reason, in the car on our way to Flora, all of a sudden I decided not to go there, but instead, go to the Intercontinental Hotel on St. Antonie. The 50% off coupons were already bought, so we ended up going on Sunday just for fun. I am SO glad we didn't go to Flora for the photo shoot, it wasn't as nice as I imaged it to be. Sunday was SUPER hot, we were SUPER hungry after church and we were in a HUGE rush because Milton had to go back to church for the SWAT camp departure.

Some of the displays were interesting, but in our opinion, not a lot of them had originality and creativity, or maybe we just don't know how to appreciate 'garden art'. Nonetheless, we took some nice photos with just the "four of us."

And... our silly moment...

Wedding Photos

The runaway bride!
Just kidding! I wouldn't run away...

So we finally took our wedding photos! It was a beautiful day, everything was just perfect. I guess you should never trust theweathernetwork.com when they say the chances of a thunderstorm is 90%! It didn't rain a bit on that day, it was pretty awesome.

On Friday, it took us 5 hours to do the shoot at 4 different locations with over 500 shots taken. Of course I wouldn't wear heals for 5 hours... I was in my comfy pink Nike sandals.
Saturday was only to do LP's portraits, so I didn't have to get into my gown(s) again.

So everything else was great, beautiful weather, not cold at all (most of you know how easily I get cold), not too hot for LP being in a suit half the day, amazing photographer, good little helpers... but my makeup and hair could have been better. I wanted the makeup to be light, but I guess the markup artist doesn't know what 'light' means, perhaps she's not used to doing Asians' makeup. Makes me look so old in some of the photos. The hairdresser was 1/2 hour late and he didn't even apologize for being late, he had no clue what he was doing at all, I was in pain for 45 minutes!

Anyways, end of vent, here are some of our fav posed photos...

And our fav candid photos....

This was like a rehearsal for our big day next year. I think by the time we got back to church to do the last photos, we didn't know how to smile anymore! Like I said, we took over 500 photos, I uploaded around 300, so if you're up to it you can check them out.

Thank You!
