Afternoon Snack

Conviction makes us miserable;

Confession makes us happy.

He who does not protest against evil

Is really cooperating with it.

The best way to break a bad habit

Is to drop it.

Let interruptions in your day

Become opportunities to pray.

When you're up to your neck in hot water,

Be like a teapot and start to sing.

Nothing is too great or too small

To bring to God.

Those who belong to Christ

Should be longing to see Him.

We are either leaving our mark on the world

Or the world is leaving its mark on us.

The Lord never stops giving us

Reasons to praise Him.

The Christian must live in the world,

But he must not let the world live in him.
