Sigh... 25...

I actually didn't remember that my birthday was today until a couple of days ago. I don't celebrate my birthday anymore. No more 50-people parties at my house. I just don't feel like those parties anymore, not even dinner out with too many friends at the same time. But I truly thank all of you for your Facebook messages, emails, text messages and local & long-d phone calls. I am truly blessed to have all of you as my friends !

I have a new toy! One of my fav birthday gifts was from LP. He bought me a Xyron Wishblade for me. It is one amazing machine, not to mention, it has one amazing price. This machine retails for USD$449.99! It connects to your computer that allows you to cut fonts and shapes/designs in any size from 1/2" to 8" wide and up to 39" long.

Can't find a video that shows in depth what this machine can do, but here's the introduce for how to set it up.

Here are the Features & Benefits:
• PC and Mac™ compatible*
• Cut any True Type Font (TTF)
• Create and Cut Welded Words
• Size letters and shapes from ½” - 8” in width and up to 39” in length
• Cut multiple words and/or shapes in various sizes on a single page
• Three interchangeable blade-caps make blade adjustments to cut virtually any paper quick and easy**
• Ability to cut adhesive-backed paper
• Print and Cut technology (Print images to a color printer and cut using the Wishblade)
*Windows® 2000, XP or Mac™OSX

**up to 80-pound cardstock

I can't wait to try out stuff with the Wishblade. It also adds to my Xyron collecion. I have another machine called the Xyron 900. As seen on the Martha Steward Show (not that I watch Martha Stewart or anything... ok well maybe I do, just an episode here and there that has things to do with arts & crafts or weddings), it creates stickers, magnets, labels and laminate out of many items. Simply feed the item (i.e. ribbons, other keepsakes) in, turn the handle and trim. The machine applies an even layer of adhesive to items up to 9" wide. Instantly laminates items up to 8.5" wide. You can change applications quickly with their easy load cartridges. If you don't like Martha Stewart (hey it's great because the audience at that Martha Stewart Show all received a free Xyron 900 that retails up to USD$119!), you can also watch a Xyron 900 in action here. Xyron has so many more machines and tools that are great for scrapbooking and arts and crafts. I want to collect them all!
